Jenna's career is driven by her passion for animals, which began at the tender age of 11 when she convinced her parents to get a dog. Her enthusiasm persisted through high school, where she participated in FFA, showing chickens and beef heifers, and worked at several dog daycare and boarding facilities.

Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science with a focus on behavior from the University of North Florida, Jenna joined Southeastern Guide Dogs in Palmetto, Florida, right after graduation. There, she honed her skills in training guide dogs and service dogs for real-world placement. A conversation with Dave, the founder of Sit Happens Dog Training, opened her eyes to the freedoms of in-home dog training. Seizing this opportunity, Jenna left her full-time job, moved from Tampa to Jacksonville, and dove headfirst into this new endeavor with Sit Happens Dog Training.

Since moving to Jacksonville in 2020, she adopted her dog Astro, who is now 3 years old and accompanies her to almost all her lessons to help teach clients.

After two and a half years of successful dog training in Jacksonville, Jenna is returning triumphantly to her old stomping grounds. With a wealth of knowledge from the Jacksonville team, she is thrilled to continue her love for dog training in the beautiful Tampa Bay area. Her passion and commitment resonate in her training approach, and she is keen on transferring this zeal to each client.
